What does the Parents Supervision include?
Our supervision service is offered to families and carers who have completed the parent training program. It provides ongoing support to ensure strategies are implemented effectively and progress continues. Services include:
- Updating and reviewing current targets, which may include academic skills, fine and gross motor skills, daily living skills, social skills, and more
- Reviewing video material and providing practical feedback on teaching methods
- Evaluating behaviour strategies and analysing data provided by the family
- Offering guidance to refine and adapt interventions to meet your child’s evolving needs

Who is it for?
This service is for parents and carers of children and young people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, or other additional needs.
What It Includes:
- Reviewing and updating current targets, such as academic, social, daily living, and motor skills
- Reviewing video material and providing feedback on teaching methods
- Evaluating behaviour strategies and analysing data provided by the family
- Offering guidance to adapt interventions as your child’s needs evolve
How Often
Supervision can be as frequent as weekly or monthly, depending on the family’s needs. Meetings usually last around 1 hour, but our BCBAs are flexible and can adjust session length and frequency as progress is made or new goals arise. Supervision can start intensively and then fade to biweekly or monthly sessions, providing ongoing, personalised support.

Supervision is an on going support for parents and carers. The aim is to offer support with building positive skills and reducing any behaviours that might challenge. Supervisition can be more intense (weekly) and fade to biweekly or monthly based on the families needs.
